The Hygiene Institute is located within the University Clinic on the hill Venusberg: Building No. 21. From the car park or parking garage beside the lodge (barrier), you can reach the institute on foot in about 5 minutes (see direction signs). The outer office of Prof. Exner is on the first floor, the lecture room is on second floor.
Das Hygiene-Institut liegt innerhalb des Universitätsklinikums auf dem Venusberg:
Gebäude Nr. 21 Vom Parkplatz bzw. Parkhaus neben dem Pförtnerhäuschen (Schranke) wird das Institut zu Fuß in ca. 5 Minuten erreicht (s. Hinweisschilder).
Das Vorzimmer von Prof. Exner befindet sich in der ersten Etage,
der Hörsaal befindet sich in der zweiten Etage.

1. From the south:
On the motorway along the left Rhine bank (Autobahn A 61):
(Koblenz-Köln) Turn at the junction "Meckenheimer Kreuz"¯ towards Bonn (A 565), then continue until the exit "Bonn-Poppelsdorf / Bad Godesberg"¯. Here, you leave the autobahn for the B 9 national. At the first light, turn right onto the "Jagdweg"¯, and from here, follow the signs to: "Universitätskliniken Venusberg"¯ (uphill all the way).
On the motorway along the right Rhine bank (Autobahn A 3):
(Frankfurt-Köln) Either take the exit "Königswinter / Ittenbach"¯, towards Bonn on the B 9, going over the bridge "Autobahn-Südbrücke"¯ (A 562); or continue until the four-way junction "Bonn-Siegburg"¯, then take the A 560 towards the three-way junction "St. Augustin"¯, then the airport motorway A 59 in the direction Bonn up until the three-way junction "Bonn-Beuel"¯, take the A 565 and junction "Bonn-Nord"¯ to the exit "Bonn-Poppelsdorf"¯, turn right at the first light onto the "Jagdweg"¯, then follow the signs towards "Universitätskliniken Venusberg"¯ (see above).
2. From the north:
On the motorway on the left Rhine bank (Autobahn A 555) or the right Rhine bank (Autobahn A 59): From Cologne (Köln): Direction Koblenz until the exit "Bonn-Poppelsdorf / Bad Godesberg"¯. From here, see above. On the motorway on the left Rhine bank (Autobahn A 61) until the junction "Kreuz Meckenheim"¯, then direction Bonn (see above).
