The Chemistry Department of the institute offers you a broad spectrum of analytical services (routine and special parameters).

Qualified and experienced staff and excellent instrumental equipment (GC-MS, HPLC-MS/MS, GC-ECD, IC, ICP-MS, AOX, TOC, photometry, among others) guarantee rapid and efficient analysis in every case.

The tests cover everything from ground, raw and surface water to drinking water, bathing water, industrial process water and wastewater. Among routine analyses are organic element and ion analysis, determination of organic parameters such as pesticides, drug residues and other relevant contaminants, sum parameters and chemical-physical measurands.

Focus is also placed on the testing of chemical parameters in household installations (e.g. lead, copper, nickel, chromium, trihalogen methane and vinyl chloride, among other things).

The department's research includes, among other things, the development of new proof and determination methods for harmful organic substances (e.g. pesticides, drug residues, hormonally active substances, perfluorinated surfactants) and performs investigations on the presence, distribution and mobility of these substances in the aquatic environment.
